Sometimes the estimating process can seem a little overwhelming but it is so important to make sure that we know exactly what you are looking for and that we get it all written out so nothing gets forgotten, the price doesn't change and the finished product is exactly what you were dreaming of. The estimating process is where so many of the contractor horror stories you hear from homeowners get started. Many contractors don't detail the scope of their job and then when a conflict arises it becomes he said she said or the contractor underbids a project and walks away from the job because they are losing money. These are the reasons we put so much time into our estimates to protect our customers and ourselves and to produce a finished product that meets all customer expectations.
Creative Home Solutions Construction Inc. Project Estimating Process

- 2. Compile information gathered at initial consultation into the "Job Scope" which typically includes preliminary drawings and submit necessary scopes for bid to any subcontractors involved.
- 3. Receive quotes back from all trades necessary and compare each estimates scope to the "Job scope" to make sure that nothing gets missed.
- 4. Assemble all information into an organized bid with any optional items listed and priced separately for clarity.
- 5. Schedule another meeting with our customer to present our bid and discuss the overall project budget and determine any changes that are necessary.
- 6. Once the project is in budget, on target and accepted, final selections are made for finishes and fixtures and the project can begin.
