Ask us about out customer feedback!!! As of May 1st every job we do requires the Customer to walk through before we leave and address any questions or concerns and then once everything is perfect they sign off and get a chance to express what they thought of our service. We have a whole stack of responses we would love to show you!!

This was a small porch in Crystal that the Customer wanted to add on to. We demolished the roof over it and all the windows and door and removed the flag stone flower box that you see at the bottom of the photo(Left) We then framed the structure of the new porch and installed the roofing, windows and doors(Center) We finished the inside off with pine bead board and pine 1x4's.

From left to right above are three different projects we did that required creative problem solving and they all turned out great!! (Left) the deck you see was attached to the house and 4 season porch addition improperly and had been leaking water which rotted out the rim joist along the entire deck. The porch was so bad that the wall had started sagging because the beam that supported them was completely rotted away. We cut out all the rotten material and rebuilt the floor structure of the porch with out touching the finished floor inside and then built this monstrous deck along the back of the house and around the porch. The design of this deck was complicated because we could not bear any more weight on the existing footings or the house by building code. This required some creative engineering and in the end we were able to give the customer the deck they wanted and still met all the structural requirements of the City and the building code. (Center) This was a job that we were replacing windows on and when we removed the old window we found that a roof leak above had completely rotted the window, wall, floor framing, and landing below. What you see is from the inside looking out at the back side of the brick that is on the front of the house. We had completely removed the wall framing and window header and installed the new 2x10's that you see in the picture and then rebuilt that entire wall and installed a new window and resided the exterior and finished the interior also. (Right) This is a project that the Customer wanted a deck out back and wanted a patio door to access the deck. At the bottom of the photo you can see the framing of the new deck that we built. We modified the existing three wide window unit by cutting out the center window and putting in studs to secure the two side windows and to create the rough opening for the new custom sized patio door. After we installed the decking we wrapped the windows and patio door in White low maintenance Aluminum... You couldn't even tell that we cut a window apart to make the door opening!!

This is a Home that we replaced all the windows with new Marvin aluminum cladded windows and installed a new entry door. As you can see it turned out Great!!

This is a deck project that we did in Maple Grove. We removed the old railings flower boxes and decking, repaired some rotten framing and moved the location of the stairs and installed new Trex Escapes Decking and picture framed the perimeter(Left) with J.B. Omeara aluminum handrails. In order to use the J.B. Omeara railing we had to manufacture our own parts for the 45 degree corners. This deck really set off the back yard!!

Most companies do not enclose the work area's to contain dust that might otherwise blow across the home. The industry standard for dust containment is simply a drop cloth below the work area. When you remove a window from its opening it creates an inward draft into a room because of the cold air return of the furnace which can draw dust into the house and into the duct work which can then be blown all through the house by the furnace. If your sales person does not offer any sort of solution for this on their own don't be afraid to ask. This is a service that we have available and offer as much as possible especially to those that have dust sensitivities or allergies. Another common reason we set this up is to keep the small sheet rock dust from getting on wood furniture like entertainment centers, antiques or piano's that may be in the room. Its always a good idea to at least be aware of some of the smaller details that you may want to consider when replacing your windows.

In some cases we can replace just the sashes of the window if the frames are in good shape. The photo above is of a home where we replaced fifty eight Kolbe Kolbe sashes. This was the bank of windows to the front of the home. Short of a little sunfading on the finish of the old frame everything looked brand new when finished

One of the most comonly overlooked details in finishing off basements is draftstopping, especially when you have manufactured floor trusses. Current building code requires soffit runs to be draftstopped every ten feet and every 1000 square feet in the floor above is supposed to be partitioned off or draftstopped by plywooding one side of the floor truss near the 1000 sq ft area. I attached picture of a basement we just finished framing as we were cleaning up at the end of the day. All the ductwork gets soffited down and has to be draftstopped as well as behind any false walls and behind the fireplace. This is a pretty standard basement frame that we do. This basement will have a bar, a recessed nich for a flat screen surrounded by custom cabinetry, custom collumns leading into the living room and a cozy fireplace.

I just completed framing 2 fireplaces both with hearths on two different projects. and in both cases there were nuances to the design that could have easily been overlooked. On the first project the height of the hearthstone was not noted on the design which sets the elevation of the rough opening of the fireplace off of the rough framed hearth height. The second fireplace was a corner fireplace and butted into a premade cabinet on the otherside. The plan dimensions of the fireplace did not allow enough room for the premade cabinet that needed to go in between the edge of the fireplace and the adjacent wall. As always it was a good idea to take a minute and call the project designer to get clarification of critical dimensions.
